Armstrong Stevens Family Scholarship

Dorothy (nee Armstrong) and Charles Stevens passionately believed in the power of education to change people’s lives.  Dorothy was a kindergarten teacher, and her father and all three siblings worked in education.  Both Dorothy and Charles’ children are also educators, and their parents, Evelyn and Gilbert Armstrong and Grace and Lyle Stevens, supported education for all their family members.

Dorothy and Charlie had a great fondness for the presence of the College of DuPage in their community, and both enjoyed taking many art classes at College of DuPage in their retirement. Through the College of DuPage, Dorothy also partially obtained training for her US teaching credentials after she immigrated to the United States of America.

Please help to endow the Armstrong Stevens Family Scholarship in their honor to provide annual funding for a student in need to complete a two-year Associate Degree from College of DuPage.
