Lauren Morgan Speech & Debate Student Scholarship

The Lauren Morgan Speech & Debate Student Scholarship was established to honor the retirement of Lauren Morgan in June, 2023.

The goal of the scholarship is to support an incoming student who joins the COD Speech and Debate Team or a second-year member of the COD Speech and Debate Team who demonstrates commitment and success.  The scholarship is contingent upon competing for the COD Speech and Debate Team and maintaining good academic standing at the college.  The scholarship is open to all incoming students.  Previous speech and debate experience is not required to be awarded this scholarship or to participate in the speech and debate team.
