David Andalcio, Founder and CEO of Wynndalco Enterprises, LLC and College of DuPage Foundation Board member, helps hand over computer laptops donated by his company to address technological needs faced by COD students resulting from COVID-19 and the transition to online learning.

The 50 laptops will be gifted to COD students who demonstrate need as identified by student success navigators and staff members in the Financial Aid office and the Library.

An advocate for higher education and equal education for all students, Andalcio has a long history of philanthropic service to the College. He has served as a Foundation Board member since 2016 and has shepherded several generous donations to the institution that focused on student success.

“We at the College of DuPage Foundation are so grateful to accept this generous gift on behalf of our students,” said Foundation Executive Director Karen Kuhn. “Now, more than ever, students are in need of technology and these laptops will help students pursue their dreams and continue their education at such an uncertain time.”

The College of DuPage Foundation, established in 1967, provides for the educational development and welfare of the College and its students. Its mission is to obtain and steward philanthropic contributions to expand educational and cultural opportunities for the College of DuPage community. For information, visit foundation.cod.edu.
