Natural Sciences Colloquium Speakers Pilot Project

Health & Sciences, Physics

Funds provided a monthly science colloquium speaker, an active research scientist, who will be selected for his or her research and ability to explain the work to students and the public, to raise awareness and interest in doing research with students.

College of DuPage Women's Scholarship Program

Enrollment Management


Funds provided assistance to low-income women, ages 50 and over, returning to school to renew or continue their education or training, in an effort to gain better employment opportunities.

Promoting STEM Education through Undergraduate Research

Funds used to provide COD students with science research experiences in partnership with and at Northwestern University.

Project Access: New Veterans to Work Initiative

Continuing Education

Funds used to provide tuition assistance to veterans who enter noncredit professional programs in workforce development.

Business Solutions

Funds used to conduct a study and develop a better understanding of the skills gap in six key industry clusters in DuPage County in order to better address the training needs of the business community.

START for Talented COD Chemistry Students

Funds used to provide summer research internship funding for three chemistry students.
