Recognition Societies
Donors are key to COD's success. They provide day-to-day essentials in the classroom, scholarship awards for hard-working students, and program and faculty support. Donors touch every facet of the College, and the entire COD community is grateful for the generosity of our distinguished donors.
To celebrate these special members of the COD family and promote the importance of philanthropy, the Foundation has established recognition circles and societies. Membership in one of our circles or societies offers opportunities for further engagement with our College. More importantly, membership is an outward expression of donors’ continued pride in, and dedication to, COD's success. On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff, we thank this dedicated group of donors for their support.

Lifetime Giving Societies
Designed to recognize lifetime cumulative contributions to the College of DuPage Foundation of $10,000 and above, lifetime giving societies honor donors for their loyal and continuous support.
George L. Seaton, as the first chairman of the College of DuPage Board of Trustees, had the foresight to establish the College of DuPage Foundation to accept and administer philanthropic gifts, at the same time the College was founded in 1967. The Seaton Society was established in 2011 to recognize individuals who have advised the College of DuPage Foundation of their intent to benefit the College through a planned gift.
Through bequests and estate gifts, the Seaton Society will continue to meet the challenges of the future. To become a Seaton Society member or for more information, please call the College of DuPage Foundation at (630) 942-2462.
